Order Management Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Management Specialist to join their growing team. This role is responsible for managing domestic and international sales orders, ensuring accurate order processing, coordinating logistics, and providing exceptional support to customers, distributors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP and CRM systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

What You'll do as the Order Management Specialist:

• Process and manage domestic and international sales orders from receipt through fulfillment.

• Review order pricing and terms to ensure compliance with approved guidelines.
• 
  
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customers to obtain required order information.
• 
  
• Coordinate shipment priorities and communicate inventory availability and lead times.
• 
  
• Work with freight forwarders to arrange shipments, deliveries, pickups, and returns.
• 
  
• Generate proforma invoices and other order-related documentation.
• 
  
• Track orders through production, service, and shipping to meet customer expectations and business objectives.
• 
  
• Maintain and update customer information within SAP and Salesforce.
• 
  
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide order status updates.
• 
  
• Support Sales, Service, Operations, and Finance teams with order-related activities.
• 
  
• Monitor open orders, RMAs, warranty swaps, trade-ins, and pilot testing programs.
• 
  
• Assist with reporting, pricing updates, process improvements, and documentation development.
• 
  
• Support training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the Order Management team.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Order Management Specialist:

• 
  
• Associate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 
  
• 3-5 years of experience in order management, sales order processing, customer service, or a related field.
• 
  
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• 
  
• Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
• 
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• 
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 
  
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
