ORDER ENTRY SPECIALIST

Pay: $21–$24/hour

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to accurately enter customer orders and help keep production moving efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Enter customer orders into the company’s ERP system.
• Enter and verify PO numbers, part numbers, quantities, due dates, shipping information, and expedite requests.
• Use AI-assisted order entry tools and review information for accuracy.
• Create new part records as needed.
• Compare order information against customer purchase orders and internal paperwork.
• Identify missing or incorrect information before orders are processed.
• Contact customers for basic order clarification when necessary.
• Route pricing questions to Sales/Pricing and technical questions to the appropriate department.
• Assist with new customer setup by coordinating with Accounting.
• Keep orders moving quickly and accurately into production.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
• Comfortable using technology, AI-assisted tools, and automated software
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Comfortable asking questions when information is incomplete
• Previous order entry, data entry, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
• ERP or manufacturing system experience is a plus, but not required
