Order Entry LPN / Pharmacy Technician
Rate: $26 - $27.50/hour (depending on experience)
Shift Differential: Additional $1.50/hour for hours worked between 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Shift: Full-Time, Evenings (Office Position)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The McGuire Group is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry LPN / Pharmacy Technician to join our centralized team in Hamburg, NY. In this office-based role, you'll collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical providers, and facility nurses to accurately enter and audit physician orders within electronic health records. Training is provided!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enter and audit computerized physician orders within electronic health records
- Review medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
- Collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical providers, and facility nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records
- Identify and communicate order discrepancies to appropriate clinical staff
- Follow established medication protocols, documentation standards, and facility procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Pharmacy Technician
- Medication knowledge or related background required
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
