Cut and prep tubing/fittings; weld on vehicle assemblies supporting final integration. Maintain spare parts inventory; follow “clean as you go” housekeeping; support facility needs.

Orbital Tube Welder (2nd Shift)
Location: Long Beach, CA
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Pay:$45/hr DOE
Duration / Openings:3-4 month project
Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the orbital welding system
• Create/follow welding setup procedures; read blueprints/approved drawings
• Cut and prep tubing/fittings; weld on vehicle assemblies supporting final integration
• Partner with Engineering on process improvements
• Assemble/calibrate liquid controllers/systems as needed
• Inspect completed assemblies (borescope and other tools)
• Train teammates on orbital tube welding processes
• Maintain spare parts inventory; follow “clean as you go” housekeeping; support facility needs

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year welding/machining/manufacturing experience OR
• Trade certificate (A&P, manufacturing, welding, and/or electronics)

Preferred

• Formal orbital weld training certification
• 3+ years orbital welding experience
• TIG, clean room, aerospace manufacturing experience
• A&P license
• Strong forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Stand 8+ hours; stoop/bend/crawl; work in tight spaces
• Work in small teams to meet production needs
