About Decision Point

Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit dedicated to proclaiming the gospel to the next generation by equipping students to share their faith on school campuses and online.

Through church partnerships and student leadership development, the ministry aims to give every student the opportunity to hear the gospel before graduation.

The Opportunity

Campus Ministry Staff will coach and disciple students who want to reach their peers for Christ while building relationships with youth pastors, churches, and community leaders throughout Orange County.

Staff spend much of the ministry week in the field, coaching students, visiting schools, and strengthening community partnerships. From September through May, approximately 50-75% of the workweek is spent in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Student Discipleship: Coach and equip students to share the gospel and become courageous witnesses for Christ.

Church Partnerships: Build relationships with youth pastors, churches, parents, educators, and community leaders.

Ministry Growth: Develop outreach opportunities and mobilize others to reach more students.

Leadership Development: Mentor student leaders and help them grow in faith, leadership, and evangelism.

Team Collaboration: Work with the L.A. Area Director and other ministry staff to advance Decision Point's mission.

Qualifications

Ministry experience in a church or parachurch setting preferred.

Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Passion for evangelism, discipleship, and reaching the next generation.

Ability to coach others, build partnerships, and motivate people around a shared vision.

Organized, proactive, teachable, and committed to teamwork.

Spiritual maturity, personal integrity, and a strong foundation in God's Word.

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Compensation and Support Raising

Salary: $48,000-$64,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Staff participate in fundraising by inviting churches, family, friends, and other supporters to provide financial and prayer support.

Decision Point provides training, coaching, encouragement, and ongoing support throughout the fundraising process.

Additional Details

Full-time position (45+ hours per week).

Consistent travel throughout the Los Angeles area.

Some nationwide travel.

Reports to the L.A. Area Director, Doug Goulding, and collaborates with the L.A. team.
