Oracle Project Contracts and Project Accounting Consultant

The Oracle Project Contracts and Project Accounting Consultant is responsible for implementing, supporting, enhancing, and maintaining Oracle ERP solutions related to project contract management, project costing, billing, revenue recognition, and financial accounting. Design and implement project financial processes including project setup and maintenance, contract creation and funding, budgeting and forecasting, cost collection and expenditure management, revenue generation and billing, and project closeout activities.

Job Description:

• Configure and support Oracle Project Contracts (OKE) and Oracle Projects Accounting (PA) modules.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements relating to project accounting, billing, revenue recognition, and contract management.
• Design and implement project financial processes including project setup and maintenance, contract creation and funding, budgeting and forecasting, cost collection and expenditure management, revenue generation and billing, and project closeout activities.
• Configure contract types, billing extensions, revenue methods, burden schedules, expenditure types, and accounting rules.
• Support project lifecycle activities from project initiation through project closure.
• Work with finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Perform functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop business process documentation, configuration documents, and training materials.

The Oracle Project Contracts and Project Accounting Consultant is responsible for implementing, supporting, enhancing, and maintaining Oracle ERP solutions related to project contract management, project costing, billing, revenue recognition, and financial accounting. The consultant works closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, project managers, and technical teams to ensure accurate project financial management and compliance with organizational policies.
 
Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle ERP solutions related to project contract management and project accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial management and compliance with organizational policies.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in configuring and supporting Oracle Project Contracts (OKE) and Oracle Projects Accounting (PA) modules.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Experience in designing and implementing project financial processes.
• Knowledge of functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
