Locations: Princeton, NJ
Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $40-$45/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with a strong data engineering mindset to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, data warehousing, and large-scale data processing. Experience with ETL tools and cloud platforms, particularly Azure, will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts.
• Develop and maintain scalable data integration and transformation processes.
• Design and implement data models to support enterprise reporting and analytics requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and application teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and support data warehouse solutions, including ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Monitor database performance and perform query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards across data platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for database development.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Development.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing concepts, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimension Modeling.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration methodologies.
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of data engineering principles and large-volume data processing.
• Excellent SQL development and database design skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Talend, or ODI.
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, or other Azure data services.
• Experience working in Financial Services/Banking domains.
• Knowledge of Python, Shell Scripting, or other automation technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for database deployments.

Nice to Have

• Azure Data Engineering experience.
• Financial/Banking data domain experience.
• Oracle Certifications.
• Exposure to Big Data or cloud-based data platforms.
