Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with a strong data engineering mindset and hands-on experience in Oracle database development and PL/SQL programming.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, database development, and ETL processes. Experience with any major ETL tool is a plus. Exposure to Microsoft Azure, particularly within a financial/data environment, will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL.
- Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and database processes.
- Work with data engineering and data warehouse teams to support enterprise data solutions.
- Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Analyze data requirements and translate business requirements into scalable database solutions.
- Support data warehouse development, integration, and data transformation activities.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL/PLSQL code and database performance.
- Collaborate with application, data engineering, ETL, and business teams.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across database and warehouse environments.
- Support technical documentation, testing, debugging, and production deployments.
Required Skills
- 8-10 years of experience in Oracle database development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong understanding of database development and data engineering concepts.
- Experience with Data Warehouse / Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience with ETL processes and preferably at least one ETL tool.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Informatica, SSIS, DataStage, Talend, or other ETL tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in Financial Services / Financial Data environments.
- Knowledge of data integration and enterprise data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
Location Requirement
This is a 100% onsite position in Princeton, NJ.
Only candidates who are local to the Princeton, NJ area and are available to work fully onsite
