Title: Oracle OTM Consultant
Location: Nashville, TN
Duration: 06+ Months
Pay Range: $50 - $53 an hour on W2/ C2C (All Inclusive)
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in both OTM Cloud and On-Premises environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transportation and logistics processes, OTM implementations, integrations, and production support. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, logistics teams, and technical teams to optimize transportation operations and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document transportation and logistics business requirements.
- Design, configure, and implement Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solutions.
- Lead and support OTM implementations focusing on the Order-to-Shipment lifecycle.
- Work closely with business users to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and support integrations between OTM and enterprise applications including:
- ERP Systems
- Salesforce
- Oracle SaaS Applications
- Engineering Systems
- Data Analytics Platforms
- Support OIC/API-based integrations and middleware implementations.
- Perform solution design, system configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-user training, and go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve OTM functional and technical issues.
- Collaborate with logistics, transportation, and supply chain teams to improve operational efficiency and transportation planning.
- Provide post-production support and continuous process improvement recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) experience.
- Strong experience with both:
- Oracle OTM Cloud
- Oracle OTM On-Premises
- At least 1 full lifecycle Oracle OTM implementation.
- Proven expertise in OTM Order-to-Shipment processes.
- Strong understanding of transportation management, logistics execution, freight planning, and carrier management.
- Experience designing and supporting API/OIC integrations.
- Knowledge of ERP integrations and enterprise application landscapes.
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable OTM solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience integrating OTM with Oracle ERP, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics best practices.
- Experience supporting global transportation operations.
