We are seeking a new talent to join the State of Ohio OCI Migration team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project. The client is STATE OF OHIO, a company that provides government services and administration for the state of Ohio.
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle OCI DBA with strong hands-on experience administering Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), particularly within Exadata Cloud Service environments. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing database operations, patching, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and operational maintenance in a complex enterprise environment.
Provide deep Windows systems administration and operational support
Administer Windows servers, including user and group management
Perform Windows server configuration, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting
Required Skills:
Manage and troubleshoot:
Windows networking
DNS
Local host and name resolution configuration
Domain join and Active Directory integration
Group Policy interactions as applicable
Automate infrastructure and operational processes using:
Ansible
Terraform
Diagnose and resolve complex OS, middleware, networking, and integration issues
Support system hardening, stability, and operational excellence across Windows environments
Ensure Windows environments follow operational best practices for reliability, security, and performance
Support Oracle-hosted infrastructure environments in OCI
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Windows Administrator
Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Deep Windows administration experience in enterprise environments
Strong working knowledge of:
Ansible
Terraform
Active Directory domain integration
User and group administration
Windows networking
DNS
Host/name resolution configuration
Windows patching and system maintenance
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing automated operational workflows for Windows environments
Experience with enterprise monitoring, alerting, and operational support models
Familiarity with high-availability and performance optimization practices for Windows platforms
Experience with Windows security hardening in enterprise or regulated environments
