The MDM Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Master Data Management solutions that improve data quality, governance, consistency, and business usability across enterprise systems. The role requires strong functional and technical understanding of master data domains, data governance processes, integration patterns, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document MDM requirements across domains such as customer, supplier, product, employee, or finance master data.
Design and support MDM solution architecture, data models, workflows, match and merge rules, hierarchy management, and data stewardship processes.
Configure and implement MDM tools and platforms based on project requirements and enterprise standards.
Collaborate with data governance, business, integration, and application teams to define data quality rules, validation checks, and remediation processes.
Support data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, migration, and consolidation activities.
Develop and maintain functional specifications, technical documentation, process flows, data mapping documents, and operational support guides.
Analyse data issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
Support integrations between MDM platforms and downstream or upstream systems such as ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and reporting platforms.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Master Data Management concepts, data governance, data quality, reference data, and metadata management.
Hands-on experience with MDM tools such as preferably Oracle
Good knowledge of data modelling, entity relationships, hierarchy management, survivorship rules, and golden record creation.
Understanding of integration technologies such as APIs, ETL tools, message queues, and batch interfaces.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Master Data Management, data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management.
Prior experience in implementation, enhancement, support, migration, or upgrade projects is preferred.
The pay range for this role is
