Job Description:
Wilsonart is seeking a Lead Cost Systems Analyst - Manufacturing to drive design and governance of manufacturing cost and intercompany processes across our ERP platforms. This role combines deep manufacturing cost accounting expertise with leadership of cross-functional solution design in Oracle Cost Management, Inventory, WIP/Manufacturing, and related financial integrations.
Role Summary
The Lead Cost Systems Analyst owns the end-to-end design and roadmap for cost and inventory accounting capabilities, ensuring consistency across plants and business units. The role partners with Plant Finance, Corporate Control, Operations, and IT to standardize processes, improve cost transparency, and support strategic decisions on pricing, sourcing, and network design.

Required Experience
Technical & Analytical Skills
Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles including:
Standard costing, actual costing, and weighted average costing methodologies
Cost rollup and cost update processes across multi-level BOMs
Material, labor, overhead, and outside processing cost elements
Manufacturing variance analysis (material, labor, overhead, yield) and root-cause investigation
Absorption costing and period-end close procedures for manufacturing
Expertise in Oracle Costing (CMC), Inventory (INV), Work in Process (WIP), Bills of Material (BOM), and integration with General Ledger and Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Experience with intercompany accounting frameworks including automated intercompany invoicing, settlements, eliminations, and transfer pricing methodologies
Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and shop floor data collection integration with Oracle Financials
Strong analytical skills with track record of using cost and variance analysis to drive operational and financial improvements
