Under general direction, the Oracle/Linux DBA is responsible for performing a variety of complex professional, technical, and analytical duties in the areas of database administration, system support, testing, troubleshooting, installation, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of assigned systems, databases, programs, and applications. This position may serve as a specialized project lead or provide guidance and oversight to technical staff while supporting critical enterprise technology systems and infrastructure. The Oracle/Linux DBA performs other duties as assigned.
Typical duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Five (5) years of full-time professional experience in computer science, information systems, voice/data communications, data center operations, database administration, or a closely related field, including at least two (2) years in a project management, lead, or supervisory capacity.
Education:
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Seven (7) years of full-time professional experience in computer science, information systems, voice/data communications, data center operations, database administration, or a closely related field, including at least two (2) years in a project management, lead, or supervisory capacity.
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or
