Location: Phoenix, AZ

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Engineer / Administrator / Architect to support the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise integrations in an Application Production Support / Application Platform Services environment.

This role combines hands-on OIC development, platform administration, solution architecture, production support, and integration governance. The successful candidate will design and maintain secure, scalable integrations across Oracle Fusion applications and third-party enterprise systems while providing both strategic architectural leadership and hands-on technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

OIC Administration & Platform Management

  • Manage Oracle Integration Cloud environments across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD.
  • Monitor integration health, failures, performance, and system availability.
  • Configure and troubleshoot OIC Connectivity Agents, certificates, and network connectivity.
  • Manage user access, roles, security policies, and OIC tenant configurations.
  • Support patching, upgrades, environment refreshes, and platform maintenance.
  • Support CI/CD deployments, integration migration, and release management.
  • Use OIC dashboards, logs, and monitoring capabilities for observability and troubleshooting.
  • Provide production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.

Architecture & Solution Design

  • Design enterprise integration architectures using Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Develop API-led, event-driven, and hybrid integration solutions.
  • Design scalable integration patterns connecting Oracle Fusion and third-party systems.
  • Establish reusable frameworks, templates, standards, and integration best practices.
  • Define security architectures using OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and SSO.
  • Lead architecture reviews and design governance activities.
  • Modernize legacy integrations into scalable cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop reference architectures for hybrid environments involving on-premises and Oracle Cloud components.
  • Define non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, security, resilience, and maintainability.

Oracle Fusion Integration

  • Design and deliver integrations involving Oracle Fusion ERP, SCM, HCM, EDM, and EPM.
  • Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure end-to-end process integrity.
  • Develop integration solutions using XML, JSON, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Review and optimize XSLT transformations, XML schemas, and JSON payloads.
  • Ensure accurate data exchange and transformation across enterprise applications.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architecture and solution designs.

Production Support & Governance

  • Troubleshoot integration failures, performance issues, connectivity problems, and data inconsistencies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective solutions.
  • Support incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with ITIL practices.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident-response processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, runbooks, and configuration guides.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure integration solutions comply with security, audit, data protection, and SOX requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to development and support teams.
  • Evaluate Oracle Cloud platform enhancements and integration technologies and recommend continuous improvements.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development and administration.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, SCM, HCM, EDM, and/or EPM.
  • Strong experience with REST and SOAP Web Services.
  • Proficiency in XML, JSON, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Strong SQL and database integration experience.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting OIC Connectivity Agents.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and performance-tuning capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of API-led architecture, middleware, integration patterns, data transformation, and orchestration.
  • Experience designing secure and scalable hybrid integration solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively at both the architecture and hands-on engineering levels.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including cloud networking and connectivity between OCI and external resources.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect certification preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration certification preferred.
  • Experience with utility industry environments is a plus.
  • Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • 10 14 years of progressive experience in enterprise application architecture and integration, preferably with significant Oracle Fusion experience.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Fusion SCM/HCM.
  • Strong experience designing and delivering production-grade enterprise integration solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex integration, performance, and data-related issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex architectural concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and work independently.
