    Location : Remote (East coast and central)

    Type: (C, CTH, D) Contract - likely extension, also potential to work in other groups after this is done
    Pay Rate / Salary (Ranges OK) : $85-11/hr

    Job Description :

    hands-on finance functional leader to support a major Oracle Fusion ERP transformation. This contract role will play a critical part in finance data validation, migration coordination, reconciliation, and business readiness as the organization prepares for implementation go-live.

    This is an opportunity for a practical accounting or controllership professional with ERP implementation experience to work closely with finance stakeholders, project teams, and business leaders in a fast-moving, operational environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and coordinate finance-related data validation and migration activities across accounting and business teams.
    • Perform and oversee pre-load and post-load data validation to ensure financial data is complete, accurate, reconciled, and correctly configured in Oracle Fusion.
    • Establish clear validation steps, deliverables, evidence requirements, and sign-off processes for UAT and go-live readiness.
    • Partner with accounting, controllership, project, and implementation teams to identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies.
    • Drive hands-on reconciliations between legacy-source data and Oracle Fusion-loaded data.
    • Coordinate stakeholder activities, timelines, dependencies, and communications through implementation cycles.
    • Support business readiness and formal finance sign-offs as validation requirements become more rigorous.
    • Work with segment project leadership to execute the program strategy and manage day-to-day deliverables.
    • Contribute to a multi-release Oracle Fusion rollout, with the immediate focus on the first release and upcoming go-live activities.

    Required Qualifications

    • Strong background in financial accounting, controllership, or systems controllership.
    • Proven experience supporting an ERP implementation or finance transformation initiative.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead hands-on data validation, data migration, and reconciliation work.
    • Strong understanding of financial data, controls, accounting processes, and implementation testing.
    • Experience partnering directly with accounting teams to define required validation activities and obtain business sign-off.
    • Able to balance stakeholder coordination with detailed, individual-contributor execution.
    • Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and evolving priorities.
    • Clear, confident communicator with strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Oracle Fusion experience, particularly within finance modules.
    • Experience with Oracle project accounting or related project modules.
    • Background in construction, engineering, field services, or another operationally complex environment.
    • Experience supporting UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

    Engagement Details

    • Location: Remote; candidates located in Central or Eastern time zones are preferred.
    • Travel: May be requested during cutover or key implementation periods; details are still to be determined.
    • Duration: Initial engagement expected to run approximately five to six months, through at least January, with potential extension based on future release needs.
    • Start: As soon as possible, ideally within the next several weeks.
