Description

We are assisting a client in Scottsdale, AZ with hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented EPM Business Administrator to join their Finance team. This role will play a critical part in supporting and evolving their Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform, including Planning (EPBCS), Profitability & Cost Management (EPCM), Financial Close and Consolidations (FCCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Tax Reporting (TRCS) as well as participate in design and implementation of Account Reconciliations (ARCS) and other modules in the future.

The hiring team prefers someone to work onsite in Scottsdale, but are open to remote candidates in the Pacific Time Zone.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000, plus 12.5% bonus

The ideal candidate will partner closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to ensure system reliability, enhance financial processes, and drive automation across planning, forecasting, and allocation activities. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact decision-making by enabling scalable, accurate, and efficient financial systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Oracle EPM applications, including EPBCS, EPCM, and related modules
  • Configure and maintain metadata, hierarchies, business rules, and security within EPM environments
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and business unit stakeholders to translate financial requirements into system solutions
  • Support planning, forecasting, and allocation cycles, ensuring system readiness and data accuracy
  • Maintain and enhance allocation models and rule configurations, including validation and audit support aligned with finance processes
  • Monitor and manage data integrations and other upstream/downstream systems
  • Schedule and monitor data loads, reconciliations, and validations
  • Support financial reporting using OTBI / BI Publisher & Smart View / Financial Reporting (EPM) to assist with Month-end close processes
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Lead testing activities for system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality (including UAT coordination)
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, process flows, and training materials
  • Support internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements related to financial systems
  • Provide end-user support, training, and guidance to global finance teams

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting financial systems or enterprise applications
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud solutions (e.g., EPBCS, EPCM, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and/or allocation processes
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance and IT stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cost allocation or profitability modeling processes
  • Knowledge of Oracle SmartView, Data Management, and integration frameworks
  • Familiarity with SOX controls, audit processes, and system governance
  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, or automation tools
