Role Overview

Client is seeking an Oracle Developer to support application design, development, bug fixes, and production support in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The position places a clear emphasis on Oracle development, with the source identifying Oracle - Developer as a required skill and specifically including Oracle PL/SQL and SQL within the application environment.

The role also operates across a broader Microsoft and web application stack that includes VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, AngularJS, MVC, TFS, and Corticon. The selected developer will contribute to both ongoing application development and production-facing support activities, making this a hands-on role that spans development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and application support.

This position is 100% onsite in Mechanicsburg, PA. Candidates must either already be local to the area or be willing to relocate for the assignment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform application design and development activities within an environment centered on Oracle and supported by .NET and web application technologies.
• Develop and support applications using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL along with VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, AngularJS, MVC, TFS, and Corticon.
• Investigate and address application bugs as part of ongoing maintenance and development work.
• Provide production support for the applications and technologies within the assigned environment.
• Contribute across the application lifecycle through hands-on development, defect correction, application design, and production support.

Required Technical Skills

• Oracle Development: Foundational Oracle development capability is required. The position specifically calls for an Oracle Developer and includes Oracle PL/SQL and SQL as part of the application stack.
• Oracle PL/SQL and SQL: Ability to work with Oracle database development technologies within the application environment.
• .NET Application Technologies: Practical working knowledge of VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET as part of the broader development stack.
• Web/Application Frameworks: Practical working knowledge of AngularJS and MVC in support of application development activities.
