    Position Summary
    • We are seeking a Oracle DBA / Technical Manager with strong Oracle database administration expertise and proven experience leading DBA teams. This role is approximately 70% technical and 30% leadership, requiring a candidate who remains actively involved in Oracle DBA operations while managing day-to-day team activities and providing technical leadership.
    • The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), RMAN, Data Guard, SQL/PLSQL, database performance tuning, and production support, along with the ability to mentor DBAs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Oracle Database Administrators while providing technical guidance and support.
    • Plan, prioritize, and oversee daily DBA operations, project delivery, and production support.
    • Design, implement, administer, and maintain Oracle database environments.
    • Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN backup & recovery, cloning, patching, upgrades, and database migrations.
    • Administer Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) database environments.
    • Perform database installations, monitoring, health checks, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
    • Analyze and optimize database performance using SQL tuning, execution plans, TKPROF, SQL Trace, and performance monitoring tools.
    • Develop and implement database security, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and operational best practices.
    • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve database-related issues.
    • Lead critical production incidents and drive root cause analysis and resolution.
    • Maintain database documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
    Required Qualifications
    • 10+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
    • 3 5+ years of experience leading or managing Oracle DBA teams.
    • Strong expertise in Oracle Database Architecture and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
    • Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, cloning, patching, upgrades, backup & recovery, and database administration.
    • Strong SQL and PL/SQL development and performance tuning experience.
    • Experience with database monitoring, troubleshooting, health checks, and capacity planning.
    • Expertise in SQL optimization, execution plans, TKPROF, and SQL Trace.
    • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience supporting large enterprise production environments.
    • Strong background in database security, disaster recovery, and high availability.
    • Experience developing database standards and operational best practices.
    • Experience leading cross-functional infrastructure and application support teams.
