    Description

    Ideal Candidate Profile: Seeking a Oracle Database Administrator with good experience supporting Oracle 19c/26ai databases across on-premises and OCI environments. Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard Physical Standby, RMAN, database migration to OCI, performance tuning, security, patching, and troubleshooting on Linux/Unix. Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, Data Pump, backup/recovery, and enterprise database documentation, with COV agency migration experience preferred.
     
    Job Duties & Responsibilities
    Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
     
    Required Skills & Experience
    Strong DBA experience in working with Oracle 19c and Oracle 26ai 10 years
    Experience in supporting Databases in OCI
    Experience in supporting Oracle Databases on premise.
    Experience in Migrating Oracle databases to OCI
    Must be familiar with 19c Oracle RAC and ASM (Automatic Storage Management) on Linux
    Must be familiar with Dataguard Physical Standby.
    Must have experience with RMAN backup and recovery
    Other skills include export and import data pump utilities, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Performance tuning, Security, Patching and documentation
    Must possess strong troubleshooting skills.
    Must have strong communication skills, verbally and in writing.
    Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Experience supporting Linux or Unix System Administration, a bonus.
     
    Preferred Skills
    Experience in Migrating COV Agency Oracle databases to OCI
    Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification
    Experience with MS SQL Server 2019 or newer
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience;
