Role Summary
Lead the techno-functional design, build, testing and go-live of Oracle CPQ across NOV's business units on a multi-year transformation program. Act as the onsite point of contact who can independently lead functional/business discussions with the client and translate complex requirements into scalable, reusable CPQ solutions. Domain knowledge of Industrial manufacturing / oil field / engineered-products domain; ABO, subscription & renewals will be preferred
IMPORTANT:
We need a person who can talk confidently on the subject with business and IT. Can front end, speak business language , but with context of CPQ .
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand processes, workflows, and industry-specific terminology
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical design documents
- Design and implement end-to-end Oracle CPQ (OCPQ) solutions
- Leverage seeded functionalities and standard features effectively
- Provide guidance on feature combinations and solution architecture
- Collaborate for integrations and enterprise alignment
- Support configuration, customization, testing, and deployment
- Drive workshops, requirement discussions, and walkthroughs
- Ensure quality documentation and adherence to standards
From a techno-functional knowledge and experience perspective, please look for candidates that are technically aligned with the below skills/ experience::
Technical Requirements:
- 10+ yrs Oracle CPQ (BigMachines/CPQ Cloud) techno-functional, with hands-on BML/BMQL, Commerce, Configuration, Document Engine, APIs.
Good to have technical skills ( the candidate would not be required to self-do the things/ tasks on below, but should have solid understanding and know-how to get these done from the dev team )
- Strong MTS/CTO/ETO/DTO product modeling, SBOM/MBOM, cost/list price, pricing, discounting and Deal Management.
- Own end-to-end Oracle CPQ solution design Configuration, Commerce, Pricing, BOM, Document Engine, Guided Selling, ABO and Subscription.
- Run client workshops, requirement discovery, and fit-gap analysis; drive functional decisions on-site.
- Architect quote-to-order integrations across a multi-ERP landscape (Oracle EBS, JD Edwards) and CRM (D365/Salesforce) via REST/SOAP APIs and OIC.
- Design reusable configuration frameworks, pricing/discounting logic for BU rollouts.
- Govern the offshore build via config workbooks and reviews; lead SIT/UAT, cutover and hypercare.
- Proven multi-ERP integration (EBS and/or JDE) and CRM integration experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead client-facing functional discussions.
