Oracle Cloud Fusion Reporting Team Lead - Houston, TX
iSphere is looking for an Oracle Cloud Fusion Reporting Team Lead for a long-term onsite opportunity in Houston.
This is a hands-on lead role for someone who knows Oracle Fusion reporting inside and out and can still get into the details when the team needs help. The client needs someone who can lead the reporting function, set standards, keep delivery moving, and make sure the reports coming out of Fusion actually tie back to the business.
You will work across OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, and Autonomous Data Warehouse while partnering with Finance, Procurement, Projects, Supply Chain, HR, technical teams, and leadership.
This is not a role for someone who only reviews status reports and assigns tickets. You should be comfortable designing reports, digging into data issues, reviewing SQL, helping with performance problems, and stepping in when something is not reconciling the way it should.
What we need:
7+ years of Oracle reporting and analytics experience
Strong Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting experience
Deep hands-on experience with OTBI
Strong BI Publisher experience, including reports, templates, bursting, and scheduled jobs
Experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI)
Experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)
Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and data validation
Experience building data models, dashboards, extracts, reporting views, and data marts
Experience with Oracle Fusion subject areas, flexfields, security roles, and reporting structures
Experience leading reporting teams or workstreams
Strong understanding of reporting requirements, design, testing, deployment, and production support
Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams
You will help define reporting standards, review work for quality, manage priorities, mentor team members, and make sure the team is not creating five different versions of the same report because five people asked for it differently.
Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud or Oracle Analytics Server would be a plus. Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, FBDI, HDL, data governance, master data management, and enterprise data warehousing experience will also get our attention.
Experience with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects, or Workforce reporting is especially useful.
The person who does well here will understand that reporting problems are rarely just reporting problems. Sometimes the issue is the source data, sometimes it is security, sometimes it is the business rule, and sometimes somebody changed something upstream and forgot to tell anyone.
