We are seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). The ideal candidate will partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to support, enhance, and optimize Oracle ERP and EPM solutions. This role will focus on financial close, general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation processes while translating business requirements into functional solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong Oracle ERP Financials and Oracle EPM experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to support enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
  • Analyze and improve Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes using Oracle best practices.
  • Configure, support, and enhance Oracle Financials modules including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Fixed Assets (FA)
    • Cash Management (CM)
    • Intercompany Accounting
    • Financial Reporting
    • Period-End and Year-End Close
  • Support Oracle EPM applications including:
    • Planning
    • Budgeting
    • Forecasting
    • Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS)
    • Account Reconciliation (ARCS)
    • Financial Reporting
    • Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
  • Develop business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FDDs), process flows, and solution documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations, interfaces, reports, conversions, and customizations.
  • Lead functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and recommend functional solutions.
  • Participate in Oracle Cloud implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls, audit requirements, and financial governance standards.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Treasury, FP&A, and IT.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant or Business Systems Analyst supporting Oracle cloud Financials.
  • Strong functional expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud or Oracle Hyperion.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Cloud Financials implementations or production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • General Ledger

    • Journal Processing

    • Financial Reporting
    • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Experience writing functional specifications and business process documentation.
  • Experience leading UAT and coordinating testing activities.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials experience.
  • Oracle EPM Cloud implementation experience.
  • Oracle Hyperion Planning experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS).
  • Experience with Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Reporting Studio or Narrative Reporting.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications.
  • Agile or Scrum experience.
