About the Role:Paradise Valley Eye Docs PLLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our growing eye care team in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities:- Perform preliminary patient testing including visual acuity, tonometry, and autorefraction
- Assist the optometrist during comprehensive eye exams and specialty procedures
- Collect and document patient medical and ocular history accurately in EHR systems
- Conduct contact lens teachings and assist patients with proper insertion and removal techniques
- Prepare exam lanes, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment
- Educate patients on pre- and post-exam care instructions and eyewear options
- Coordinate patient flow and support front office staff as needed
Requirements:- Experience in a medical or optometry setting is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care.
- Ability to work well with a team and be adaptable.
