Optics & Defense Business Development Executive, North America
Salary: $80,000 base + commission

Key Responsibilities for the Optics & Defense Business Development Executive:
- Develop the North American market for custom optics, precision components, and defense-related vision systems
- Define and execute a 3-year strategic growth plan for optics and vehicle-vision business lines
- Build and maintain a qualified customer and partner pipeline across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica
- Manage opportunities through the full business development lifecycle, from engagement to order closure
- Collaborate with European engineering and commercial teams to align on multinational accounts
- Serve as primary commercial contact for customers on specifications, quality, and delivery requirements
Qualifications for the Optics & Defense Business Development Executive:
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience in optics, photonics, digital imaging, microscopy, or military/defense optics
- Prior exposure to the North American defense sector required
- Working knowledge of DoD contracts, export controls, and ITAR required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; U.S. citizenship preferred for defense installation access
