    $14–$18/hour (based on relevant experience)

    What You’ll Be Responsible For

    This is not just a front desk job. It is an integrated patient services position with cross-training and advancement opportunities.

    • Welcome and guide pediatric patients and families efficiently and professionally in a friendly manner
    • Checking patients in and out accurately
    • Staying organized under pressure.
    • Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits (training provided)
    • Collecting copays and payments at checkout
    • Entering and maintaining patient data accurately in our system
    • Managing high phone volumes while assisting families in person
    • Supporting the optical team with administrative and customer-facing tasks
    • Maintaining an organized, clean, HIPAA-compliant front office and showroom
    • Cross-train into other optical services including:
      • Frame selection and fitting
      • Lab processes and lens cutting exposure
      • Inventory management

    Minimum Requirements

    At least 6 months of front desk or administrative experience in a medical office
    Experience in any of the following environments:
     • Medical or dental office
     • Optical or vision care setting
      • Insurance-based customer service
    Bilingual (English/Spanish)

    Reliable attendance and punctuality
    Able to multitask in a fast paced pediatric setting

    Preferred

    • Experience with insurance verification
    • Familiarity with EMR systems
    • Experience working with children and families
    • Interest in growing into advanced optical or clinical roles
