     Tyson Eye is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused professional to join our optical team as an Optical Patient Care Coordinator. This patient-facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive customer experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in developing a career in optical. No prior optical experience is required, we provide the training and support needed to learn the role and grow within our optical department

    Responsibilities
    • Welcome patients into the optical department and provide a warm, professional experience
    • Guide patients through the optical department and manage patient flow
    • Assist with patient flow and ensure smooth transitions from the clinical team to optical
    • Assist patients with basic frame care and maintenance
    • Notify patients when eyewear and orders are ready
    • Handle contact lens (CL) order-only transactions
    • Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting optical environment
    • Assist the optical team with daily operations and patient needs
    • Learn Tyson Eye's optical products, processes, and customer service standards  
    What We’re Looking For
    • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or another patient/customer-facing environment preferred  
    • Confidence interacting with patients and providing personalized service
    • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
    • Self-starter who takes initiative
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
    • A genuine interest in developing a career in optical
