Optical Assistant

We are seeking an outgoing, dependable, and customer-focused Optical Assistant to assist customers with selecting and fitting eyewear.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and can confidently manage multiple responsibilities while staying organized in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help identify their eyewear needs

• Assist customers with selecting frames and basic lens options

• Measure and properly fit eyewear frames

• Make minor adjustments to frames for comfort and fit

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service

• Maintain an organized and professional work environment

• Handle multiple tasks and customer needs efficiently

• Assist with other duties as needed

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor

• Dependable and reliable

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Good problem-solving abilities

• Comfortable working independently

• Detail-oriented and able to work accurately

• Previous optical, eyewear, retail, or customer service experience is a plus
