OPS (Temporary) RECEPTIONIST

This is a 20-hour a week position

Shift: Evenings, and weekends

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English: speaking, reading, and writing
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must be willing to work some evenings, and weekends
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Receptionist experience in a medical or Long-Term care facility

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent will be responsible for handling several administrative duties, which include assisting the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties.

  • Answers phones and routes incoming and in-house calls
  • Takes and delivers accurate messages to appropriate staff members in a timely fashion
  • Assists residents, families, and other visitors with any questions
  • Assist with making doctor appointments for residents
  • Performs basic bookkeeping, filing, copier, fax machine and other clerical duties
  • Shred paperwork as needed
  • Performs other routine office duties as instructed by supervisor

This is an OPS (Other Personal Services) position.
