Inpatient responsibilities consist of Wednesday NICU rounding for retinopathy of prematurity from 7 AM to 1 PM, followed by afternoon clinic when ROP treatment or follow-up care is required. Coverage is structured primarily to support staff vacations across approximately 8 weeks per year. Board certification in Ophthalmology is required for this assignment.
