Pay: $15–$17/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Type: Temp to Hire

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Ophthalmic Technician to join a busy ophthalmology practice in Claremore, Oklahoma. This role is ideal for someone with ophthalmology experience who enjoys providing exceptional patient care while assisting with surgical scheduling and administrative duties in a fast paced clinical environment.

Ophthalmic Technician Responsibilities

• Assist the Ophthalmologist with direct patient care during clinic visits
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain prior authorizations for surgical procedures
• Schedule cataract surgeries at the ambulatory surgery center twice weekly
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR system
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments and surgical instructions
• Travel to other office locations as needed to support department operations
• Maintain a professional, organized, and patient focused environment

Ophthalmic Technician Requirements

• Previous experience as an Ophthalmic Technician strongly preferred
• Strong computer skills
• EMR experience preferred
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
• Ability to travel between office locations based on department needs
• Stable work history is required
