Duration: 6 Months
Location: Salt Lake City, UT [Onsite]
Shift timing: 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday - 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm (Onsite)
Job Description:
Core Essential Skill Sets:
Attention to Detail, Ability to follow directions, Strong understanding of the English language (written and verbal), Good communication skills (written and verbal), good math skills, Dependability with punctuality and attendance.
Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.
Sets up equipment operation feed, speed, and temperature.
Follows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as:
Cutting
Punching
Forming
Drilling
Tapping
Turning
Milling
Stamping
Fabricates, forms, or shapes manufactured parts, tools, or part assemblies from raw materials.
Selects and measures raw materials and parts according to specifications to prepare for production processing.
Resolves issues related to the organization’s production, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations.
Responsibilities are within the Manufacturing/Operations function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
Performs the full range of established procedures and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience.
Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval.
Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience.
Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
Required Qualifications
Secondary/High School Diploma
3–5 years of related experience
