Operator

Title: Operator 1 – 1st Shift
Location: New Brighton, MN
Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon- Thur) | Pay: $18.75 per hour

Job Summary

The Operator will be responsible for building medical device products through assembly. The role will also involve inspection, testing, periodic microscope work, packaging, and boxing. Cross-training will be provided in multiple areas.

Previous soldering and microscope experience is preferred for some positions but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device products according to established procedures.
• Inspect finished and in-process products for quality.
• Perform product testing as required.
• Perform periodic microscope work; microscope use will not be continuous.
• Handle packaging and boxing of products.
• Operate electrical torque drivers and screwdrivers.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Work in a clean-room environment while following all required safety and gowning procedures.
• Participate in cross-training across multiple production areas.
• Follow FDA and GMP requirements and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working in a clean-room environment.
• Experience must be specifically within the medical device industry.
• Previous medical device assembly experience is required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with FDA and GMP procedures/SOPs is preferred.
• Ability to work with electrical torque drivers and screwdrivers.
• Soldering and microscope experience is preferred but not required.
