    Operator Qualification (OQ) Specialist

    Your role in our success will be…

    The Operator Qualification (OQ) Specialist is responsible for conducting all aspects of operator qualification evaluations to verify that employees are qualified in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports operational compliance and ensures consistent, safe execution of covered tasks across the organization.

    What you'll be working on…

    • Coordinates with supervisors and employees regarding evaluation
    • Conduct OQ evaluations in accordance with the company's OQ plan and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct re-qualification of employees when required by the company's OQ Plan
    • Completes evaluation records accurately, completely, and timely
    • Provide clear, constructive feedback to employees and management after evaluations.
    • Demonstrates working knowledge of assigned covered tasks, procedures, and field practices
    • Support continuous improvement of the Operator Qualification program, processes, and evaluation methods
    • Identifies employee performance deficiencies and knowledge gaps
    • Maintain OQ evaluation sites in conjunction with Operations Training

    Who you are:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 4+ years of experience in the gas industry with a strong background in operations required
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Knowledge of gas operations, including construction, maintenance, and distribution system.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Products and OQ Platforms
    • Ability to travel (up to 30%). This role will be based in Debary, FL and will need to travel throughout the service territories.
    • Ability to work independently
