Location: Midland TX 79703

Duration: 06+ Months

Pay rate : $21.00/hr – $24.00/hr on W2 without benefits

Shift: 2 weeks on, 1 week off

Summary

Man camp accommodations and per diem currently offered during scheduled work rotations.

Required: Valid CDL with no restrictions.

Preferred: Hazmat endorsement.

Wireline Operators

The Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations. * Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time. * Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members. * Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations. * Ensure individual and crew work safety. * Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times. * Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement. * Wear PPE and observe HSE policies. * Maintain the required safety training.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support wireline equipment in the field.
• Rig up and rig down wireline tools and equipment.
• Set up wireline trucks, pulleys, sheaves, and cable systems.
• Connect and assemble wireline tool strings.
• Rebuild heads and rope sockets used to connect cable systems to downhole tools.
• Drive wireline trucks and support equipment to job sites.
• Assist with placing tools into wells during wireline operations.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in training and certification activities.
• Perform physically demanding field work.

Experience & Skills

Required

• Valid CDL.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Strong safety mindset.

Preferred

• Approximately 1+ year of oilfield, wellsite, or related field experience preferred.
• Prior wireline experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Rotation Schedule

• 14 days on / 7 days off
