Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday Friday, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (subject to change based on volume/business need; candidates will train on 1st shift before transitioning)

Urgent Need: 7 openings to support HIV and TB 2026 2027 production volumes, recover backorders, and maintain supply.
Job Description
This position is responsible for the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices as part of a team within a manufacturing cell. The role involves detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery in accordance with documented procedures, which may include electronic assembly, casting/coating, mechanical assembly, and packaging. The operator is also responsible for cleaning tools and equipment per documented procedures and disposing of hazardous waste materials in designated areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble medical devices and related components, which may require work in a controlled cleanroom environment
- Use microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering equipment, and adhesive bonding techniques as needed
- Operate various production equipment following standardized procedures
- Perform visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies
- Conduct tests on units using computerized test equipment
- Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools
- Package devices, ensuring accuracy of parts and completeness of documentation
- Maintain accurate records (travelers, shop floor paperwork, quality documents) to ensure full traceability and enable resolution of quality issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and meet quality/profitability metrics
- Notify supervisor or lead of supply/material needs or unresolved production issues
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to set and monitor individual and cell performance goals
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures in English (6th-grade level)
- Basic math skills (6th-grade level)
- Ability to speak, follow verbal instructions, and communicate effectively in English
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems and standard computer software
- Good manual dexterity for handling small components and parts
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on precedence and importance
- Ability to make sound decisions and judgments with minimal supervision
