Description

What You'll Do:

As an Operator II, under general supervision, you will perform basic printing and finishing equipment operator tasks; utilizing appropriate systems/tools and resources efficiently and effectively. Responsible for producing high quality outputs while meeting timing and productivity expectations. Organize work and achieve predefined performance standards on tasks. Perform project work as needed.

 

  • Operate printing and finishing equipment to produce high quality output while meeting timing and productivity standards. Utilize appropriate tools, systems and resources to perform necessary tasks. Receive and process work requests from various entry points and formats and adhere to priority levels. Accurate application handling and equipment set up based on job specifications. Correctly transfer of work to the next production step.
  • Track, record, and document manual and automated document/mail jobs processed through various means of input. Log and monitor performance results. Communicate progress, barriers and/or issues to the production lead or management in a timely manner.
  • Cross train on other equipment, systems, and functions in the department. Provide support in other areas of the department as needed.
  • Resolve basic equipment issues such as machine warning messages, paper jams, and inconsistent quality output. Perform basic maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
Who You Are:
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years work experience preferred.
  • Must be able to operate print equipment.
  • Good oral and written communication, problem-solving, and basic math and computers skills required.
  • Must have time-management, decision-making, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and pay strict attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible in workflow tasks and able to effectively follow directions and procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people in a team atmosphere required.
  • Must be well organized and able to multi-task and manage to deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented and have good customer service skills.
  • Must have an ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 70 lbs. or less, and pull and push up to 800 pounds., repetitively reach overhead and handle repetitive tasks.
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $20.34 - $40.96 / hour Salary Details:

    • Operator II: $20.34 - $27.26 / hour
    • Operator III: $22.93 - $30.72 / hour
  • Des Moines, IA:
    • Operator II: $21.47 - $28.77 / hour
    • Operator III: $24.21 - $32.43 / hour
  • Charlotte, NC:
    • Operator II: $22.60 - $30.29 / hour
    • Operator III: $25.48 - $34.13 / hour
  • Chicago/Minneapolis:
    • Operator II: $24.86 - $33.32 / hour
    • Operator III: $28.03 - $37.55 / hour
  • Los Angeles/New York City:
    • Operator II: $27.12 - $36.35 / hour
    • Operator III: $30.58 - $40.96 / hour
Time Off Program: Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Pension Eligible: Yes Additional Information:

Job Level

We're open to hiring in at the next level with the right skills and experience. 

 

Operator III:

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years work experience preferred.
  • Must be able to operate specified equipment.

 

Work Environment

This role is a full-time onsite opportunity located at our Des Moines, IA location.
