Job Title: Operator I
Duration: 6 plus months
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Shift Details 1st Shift:
Current through August 15: Monday - Friday - 6:00am - 2:30pm MST
Effective August 16: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm MST

- Attention to Detail, Ability to follow directions, Strong understanding of the English language (written and verbal), Good communication skills (written and verbal), good math skills, Dependability with punctuality and attendance.
- Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.
- Sets up equipment operation feed, speed, and temperature.
- Follows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as:
- Cutting
- Punching
- Forming
- Drilling
- Tapping
- Turning
- Milling
- Stamping
- Fabricates, forms, or shapes manufactured parts, tools, or part assemblies from raw materials.
- Selects and measures raw materials and parts according to specifications to prepare for production processing.
- Resolves issues related to the organization s production, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations.
- Responsibilities are within the Manufacturing/Operations function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
- Performs the full range of established procedures and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience.
- Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval.
- Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience.
- Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
