Job Summary
We are seeking an Operator I to support the manufacturing of high-quality medical devices within a production environment. This role involves performing assembly, repair, testing, and documentation activities while following established procedures and maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with small components, and able to follow written and verbal instructions in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical device components and assemblies.
• Follow standardized work instructions, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Complete production documentation accurately, including traceability and quality records.
• Operate within a controlled manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Identify production issues and communicate solutions effectively.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workflow based on production needs.
• Support quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle small components.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to make sound decisions and follow quality standards.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.

Cleanroom / Production Area Requirements

• Clothing must be clean, non-shedding, and free of loose threads, frayed edges, glitter, sequins, or decorative materials.
• No fleece, loose-knit sweaters, or garments that may release fibers.
• Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes with socks required.
• No sandals, open-toe shoes, open-heel shoes, or high heels above 2 inches.
• No nail polish, artificial nails, makeup, or prohibited jewelry in the production area.
• All clothing must meet cleanroom and safety requirements.
• Must follow gowning, hygiene, and contamination-control procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, electronics, medical device, or cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a quality-focused production environment preferred.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Requires precision handling of small parts and components.
• Must consistently follow safety, quality, and production procedures.
