Position: Assemblers
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift
Hours:
1st Shift: 5:00am - 3:30 pm
2nd Shift: 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: $18.75 -$19.25 /hour + Paid Training + Bonus Opportunities

Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble, repair, and test medical devices (e.g., pacemakers, ICDs, leads) within a manufacturing cell following standardized procedures
- Utilize microscopes and precision tools (e.g., tweezers, cutters) to handle small components to perform detailed fine-motor tasks.
- Perform assembly and inspection of small components in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Use microscopes and precision tools to assemble and inspect parts to specification
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Casting/Coating functions
- Performs Mechanical Assembly functions
- Performs Packaging Functions
- Kits, assembles, and packages devices and related accessories using applicable tools
- Kits, assembles, bonds, coats, and processes medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools
- Locates and corrects problems by examining devices and components and visually inspecting parts/assemblies
- Repairs and corrects devices and related components using microscopes and applicable tools
- Examines medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxy
- Utilizes small drills, reamers, taps, and knives to access bubbles and remove excess epoxy
- Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patches
Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required
- Must be available to attend a 4-day, onsite training in Minnetonka, MN (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM) at the start of the assignment, regardless of assigned shift or work location
- Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully pass a knowledge based evaluation is required
