Working under close supervision, the employee may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality and profitability goals.

Job Description:

This is a non-exempt position responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Working under close supervision, the employee may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine assembly, repair, and testing operations according to specified and standardized procedures.
• Complete assignments under close supervision with work continually reviewed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for cell operations and functions.
• Ensure all parts are traceable and quality documentation is accurate.
• Maintain accurate traveler and quality records.
• Address quality issues to ensure product integrity and compliance.
• Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality and profitability goals.
• Participate with Manufacturing Supervisors/Managers in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics.
• Follow all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Support divisional initiatives as identified by management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems and software packages.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
• Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.

Dress Code & Personal Appearance Requirements

• Wear clean, non-shedding clothing free of loose threads, lint, dirt, or contamination.
• Clothing must fit completely under the lab coat/gown and fully cover the torso, upper arms, and legs.
• No sweaters, fleece, loose-knit garments, sleeveless tops, crop tops, skirts with slits, or clothing above the ankle.
• Wear closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks or stockings at all times.
• No sandals, clogs, slippers, open-toe/open-heel shoes, or heels over 2 inches.
• Hats, caps, bandanas, and scarves are not permitted unless worn for religious/cultural reasons and properly covered.
• No nail polish, acrylic/artificial nails, makeup, excessive jewelry, or body piercings that cannot be covered.
• Avoid scented personal products; deodorant is permitted.
• Cover any open or bleeding wounds with a bandage.
• Do not wear anything that could be considered offensive
