Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Operates various types of construction equipment at a proficient level.
- Oversees work of subcontractor.
- Assists Superintendent in planning manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements and other planning functions.
- May repair and maintain equipment in addition to other duties.
- Records all job details and time worked on each piece of equipment on provided tickets.
- Performs additional duties assigned by supervisor.
- Confers with supervisory personnel and employees (with appropriate assistance from HR and Legal) to resolve complaints and grievances within the work force.
- Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years Industrial Construction Equipment Operator experience preferred.
- Experience managing operator crews and/or subcontractors preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, sit and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
- Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
