Shift Operator – Day & Night Shifts –
Marshfield, MO Penmac Staffing is hiring Shift Operators (Extrusion Operators) for both day and night shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Shift Operator role is responsible for safely operating extrusion equipment while ensuring all products meet quality and customer specifications. Requirements for the Shift Operator:
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
- Extrusion experience is a plus
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required
- Ability to operate hand and pneumatic tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or on a team
- Must be willing to follow established processes and procedures
Shift Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor extrusion production equipment safely and efficiently
- Adjust machine settings to maintain proper product specifications
- Perform quality checks including wall thickness, diameter, length, and appearance
- Ensure products are labeled correctly and meet customer requirements
- Accurately record production and quality data
- Report defects, equipment issues, or changes in specifications to leadership
- Assist with line setup, tooling changes, startup, and shutdown processes
- Package and stage finished products according to company standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Schedule and Pay for the Shift Operator:
- Full-time, rotating schedule
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- 2-week rotation: Week 1 (4 days on / 3 days off), Week 2 (3 days on / 4 days off)
- Competitive pay $18.50-20.00/hour
