Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Operator Assistant to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position works alongside experienced machine operators, assisting with machine loading, material handling, and production support while learning the skills necessary to advance into a machine operator role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist machine operators with loading, monitoring, and unloading production equipment
Rotate between multiple production machines to support manufacturing operations
Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed
Supply materials and components to production areas to keep operations running efficiently
Monitor production activities and report equipment or material issues to operators or supervisors
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Learn machine setup, operation, and production processes with the goal of advancing into an operator position
Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements
Perform additional production and warehouse support duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience
Experience working around industrial machinery or mechanical equipment
Forklift or material handling experience is a plus
Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring equipment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around production equipment and moving machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a physically active manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility
