Where you’ll work…

Located at our Canal Street facility in Milwaukee, this site is home to our bakery and crust production operations and serves as a key hub within Palermo’s manufacturing network. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside teams in production, quality, maintenance, and operations, supporting high-volume food manufacturing with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and product quality.

When you’ll work…

We are currently hiring an experienced Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift team! OT available!

Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday-Saturday with the possibility of working Sunday

 What you’ll do…

• Operate one or more pieces of production equipment.
• Setup machinery and monitor machine operation and flow, making machine adjustments and feeding supplies and ingredients.
• Make appropriate weight, time, and other checks to ensure product quality is at standards set by management.
• Check area around machine for proper housekeeping, equipment safeties and safeguards, proper tools and other equipment/supplies, and ensure that applicable machinery is set up and functioning properly for an on-time startup.

• Proven ability to understand how machines work to ensure consistent, efficient and productive shifts.
•  Utilizing knowledge from your 1+ years’ experience with machine operation to ensure equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

•  Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
