Job Opportunity in Columbus, NE
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Columbus, NE. This is an exciting opportunity for those with a passion for manufacturing and machine operation. We have three positions available for day shift (A or C), with a 12-hour shift from 6am to 6pm, following a 2-week rotation schedule. The work schedule consists of two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, and two days on.
Job Requirements
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Candidates with previous machine operator experience will have first preference.
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English.
  • Perform basic math calculations.
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
  • Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO9000 standards.
  • Effectively work in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
  • Make effective decisions relative to position requirements.
  • Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required.
  • Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
  • Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor.
  • Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment.
