Job Opportunity in Columbus, NE
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Columbus, NE. This is an exciting opportunity for those with a passion for manufacturing and machine operation. We have three positions available for day shift (A or C), with a 12-hour shift from 6am to 6pm, following a 2-week rotation schedule. The work schedule consists of two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, and two days on.
Job Requirements

Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Reliable transportation is a must.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Candidates with previous machine operator experience will have first preference.
Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English.
Perform basic math calculations.
Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.
Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO9000 standards.
Effectively work in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
Make effective decisions relative to position requirements.
Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required.
Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
Communicate effectively with co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor.
Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment.
