    Maxwell & Spark is a global energy technology company specializing in advanced lithium-ion battery systems for material handling equipment and transport refrigeration applications. Withoperations in South Africa, Europe, and North America, we are expanding our U.S. service team and looking for a motivated Operations Technician to join our production team in Dallas, Texas.

    What You'll Do

    As an Operations Technician, you will play an important role in the assembly, testing, quality control, and warehouse operations that support the production of our advanced lithium-ion battery systems. Working closely with the Operations Supervisor, you will help ensure our products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assemble, commission, test, troubleshoot, and repair lithium-ion battery systems.
    • Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure products meet internal quality standards and engineering specifications.
    • Follow established manufacturing procedures while meeting daily production targets.
    • Identify and report quality concerns, production issues, or component defects, and assist in resolving them.
    • Support warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials and finished products.
    • Assist with inventory control, stock counts, and maintaining accurate production and inventory records.
    • Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe production environment in accordance with company health and safety standards.
    • Perform minor product modifications and repairs where required.
    • Identify opportunities to improve production processes, operational efficiency, and product quality.
    • Support the broader operations team with day-to-day activities and other operational requirements as assigned.

    What We're Looking For

    Required

    • Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automotive Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
    • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Willingness to work overtime and travel occasionally when required.

    • Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, industrial maintenance, or warehouse operations.
    • Experience working with electrical systems, battery systems, chargers, forklifts, power electronics, or related industrial equipment.
    • Experience using hand and power tools, electrical test equipment, and technical documentation.
