    Function

    Purpose

    Responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, facilities, and employee supervision across multiple warehouse locations. This position serves as the formal people leader for warehouse personnel while maintaining an active, hands-on role in daily warehouse operations. Provides leadership, coaching, operational direction, and direct support to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate execution of warehouse activities across Yuma, AZ and Salinas, CA.

    Main Goal

    Primary Functions

    Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

    • Maintain a visible presence on the warehouse floor and actively participate in daily warehouse operations.
    • Oversee and support receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling activities.
    • Ensure accuracy of warehouse transactions, including receipts, transfers, shipments, work order processing, and inventory reconciliations.
    • Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and support inventory audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
    • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas to maximize efficiency, product integrity, and safety.
    • Analyze warehouse performance and prepare reports on operational metrics, inventory accuracy, and productivity.
    • Support internal packing and inventory requirements, including work order creation, sample orders, spot orders, and subcontractor inventory transactions.
    • Provide hands-on operational support during peak periods, inventory projects, audits, staffing shortages, and business continuity situations.
    • Support workload balancing and operational priorities across warehouse locations.

    Leadership & Employee Development

    • Provide leadership and operational oversight for warehouse activities across multiple locations.
    • Directly supervise warehouse personnel, including scheduling, coaching, performance management, attendance management, and employee development.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to support employee growth and accountability.
    • Support onboarding, training, cross-training, and development of warehouse personnel.
    • Maintain regular communication with warehouse leads and employees to ensure alignment of priorities, resources, and service levels.
    • Utilize reporting tools and performance metrics to monitor operational effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Serve as the primary escalation point for warehouse operational and personnel issues.

    Travel between warehouse locations as required to support operations, training, audits, inventory projects, and business needs

    Maintain a flexible schedule, including early starts, weekends, and holidays as needed
