Pay: $20 - $25/hr.

Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Office Clerk / Operations Support Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of the branch. This position will handle sales order entry, production paperwork, delivery scheduling, customer information, and general office support.
The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable multitasking, and able to communicate effectively with customers, drivers, sales, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and verify customer sales orders, including product codes, quantities, pricing, and account information
  • Print and distribute batch sheets to the production team
  • Prepare delivery tickets and verify order details
  • Assist with scheduling truck deliveries and coordinating with drivers
  • Communicate with sales, production, and delivery teams to resolve order or scheduling issues
  • Maintain accurate paper and digital records
  • Monitor inventory and assist with cycle counts
  • Order office and inventory supplies and track deliveries
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct inquiries
  • Complete data entry and assist with basic reports
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and shipments
  • Provide general administrative support, including copying, scanning, document preparation, and travel booking
  • Perform other office duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous office, clerical, order entry, dispatch/scheduling, inventory, or customer service experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn order entry/ERP software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Comfortable supporting a fast-paced office, production, and delivery environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment
  • Occasionally lift or move office supplies and paperwork up to 20 lbs.
  • May occasionally work in a production or warehouse area and follow required safety guidelines
