Operations Support Specialist

In this role you’ll partner with project controls, project management, finance, and operations to track purchasing activity, monitor change orders, and produce reporting that helps teams stay aligned on cost and schedule. JSG is seeking an Operations Support Specialist. In this role you’ll partner with project controls, project management, finance, and operations to track purchasing activity, monitor change orders, and produce reporting that helps teams stay aligned on cost and schedule.
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97123 (Hybrid)
Employment Type: JSG Contract (W-2)
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour to $35/hour
What You’ll Do

• Process purchase orders and change requests in the client’s ERP system while following established SOPs
• Provide daily status updates and reporting on change order activity
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to expedite and trace purchase/change order status
• Support QA/QC reviews of change order documentation through the client’s approval process
• Prepare and monitor daily/weekly reports and help keep inputs accurate across multiple projects
• Act as a liaison between the client team and trade contractors
• Assist with invoice review and tracking contractor spend
• Support project closeout activities and cost reconciliation efforts
• Coordinate meetings and maintain timely communication under strict deadlines

Must-Have Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe; strong comfort navigating Windows-based systems
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to work both independently and with a team
