Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Support Associate to join the Unclaimed Property team. This role is responsible for processing customer requests, completing data updates, and supporting operational accounting activities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Complete data updates and maintain accurate records within internal systems.
Review and process customer requests related to unclaimed property activities.
Perform operational accounting support functions and data validation tasks.
Enter large volumes of information efficiently and accurately.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, review, and manage data.
Research and resolve discrepancies while ensuring data integrity.
Meet established productivity and quality standards in a deadline-driven environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of operational requests.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
2+ years of operational accounting support experience or equivalent related experience.
Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience working in administrative, operations, accounting, financial services, or data-processing environments.
Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently in a structured environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable learning and utilizing new technology and systems.
Previous financial services industry experience. (preferred)
Prior Wells Fargo experience. (preferred)
Accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or reconciliation experience. (preferred)
Experience working under tight deadlines and managing urgent requests.
Fast and accurate typing skills.
Proven ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
